Masjid Ibad-ur-Rahman was established in 2003 with the mission to propagate the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, according to the understanding and methodology of the Companions. We praise Allaah for over twenty years of success in establishing the daily prayers, as well as regular classes, educational seminars, and youth programs on the Islamic Creed, tafsir Qur’an, and Islamic jurisprudence. These endeavors have had positive impacts on the Islamic upbringing of our community.
In Ramadan 2022, Masjid Ibad-ur-Rahman, purchased the Building #16 property on 2440 Sandy Plains Road with the intention to make it the permanent home of Masjid Ibad-ur-Rahman. This 6,600 square foot Masjid Project will accommodate over 250 worshippers inshaa-Allaah.
We are in the final phase of the building renovation, with the goal to have the Masjid completed in time for Ramadan (March 2025). The fundraising goal to complete construction is $400k by January 15th, 2025.
